America’s sweetest race is back! The Hot Chocolate 15/5K is the perfect race for runners with a sweet tooth.
The inaugural race took place in Chicago in 2008. Since then more than 200,000 runners participated in the nationwide 15/5K. Ronald McDonald House Charities is currently the official charity partner for the series.
Pick up a sweet goodie bag at the expo along with your race packet. Each Hot Chocolate 15/5K features both a 15K (9.3 miles) and 5K (3.1 miles), followed by a post-race party. The family-friendly event features music and a kid zone complete with bounce houses and various games. Finishers’ mugs are filled with hot chocolate and chocolate fondue with treats for dipping is also available for runners to indulge.
There are still chances to participate in 2014, including Chicago, Columbus, Phoenix and St. Louis. Dates for 2015 are set. Check out the website and register today.
