If you’re a Hocus Pocus fan, you already know, while the movies are set in Salem, the second movie was filmed largely in nearby Newport, Rhode Island — making this the perfect destination for movie fans, and Halloween aficionados in general, to visit this October.

If you’re in town on a Friday, visit The Vanderbilt for the weekly Enchanted Hour. Grab a cocktail and get a reading from a local tarot master.
The Vanderbilt also hosts a special, one-night event, Oct. 28, dubbed Cabinet of Curiosities: A Night at the Mansion, during which you can enjoy a whimsical dinner theater experience with a multicourse menu and unlimited Champagne, plus tarot and palm readings, specialty cocktails and entertainment.
