Tips / Travel

No one likes to be stuck in an airport longer than needed. When you have a layover on the way to your destination, you are excited for your vacation to start and when you have a layover on the way home, you are exhausted and just want to get home. Check out these tips to help kill time during a layover.

If you are 21 and above, head to the bar and grab a drink. Enjoying a nice drink with your travel buddies is a great way to kill time. It is also a great way to relax, unwind and get out any of those pre-flight jitters you may have. Most bars have food options to so enjoy a snack with your drink.

Grab a book and dive in. Whether you have 30 minutes to kill or two hours reading a book will help pass the time. The more interested you are in the book, the quicker time will fly.

Binge watch your favorite series or watch a movie. Most of the streaming platforms allow you to download TV seasons and full-length movies so you don’t have to use all your WiFi data. Also, since you don’t have to use WiFi, you can finish the movie or show on the plane.

Platform Helps Remote Workers, Business Travelers Find Work-Friendly Hotels

If you’ve ever attempted to work on the go — not necessarily for a business trip, but just because your job offers the flexibility of remote working — you may have struggled with working from your hotel room. Your options are typically plugging your laptop in next to a tiny in-room table, if you’re lucky, or you’re stuck answering emails from your hotel bed — hardly conducive to productivity.
