Items You Always Forget to Pack, But Shouldn’t

Packing for a trip overseas is stressful and we almost always leave with the feeling that we’ve forgotten something. For your next trip, here are a few things you really shouldn’t leave behind.

Deodorant

Not only does it keep you from having to make an extra run to the store once you arrive at your destination, but packing deodorant can be a lifesaver if you have to spend hours on a plane. Some of us don’t stay as fresh as others and could use a little extra insurance between layovers.

Cologne/Perfume

This one is a must. Who knows when you’re going to meet Mr. or Mrs. Right? You don’t want to go out and about in a foreign land, meet the person of your dreams only to smell like cheap hotel soap. This stuff is expensive everywhere, so you don’t want to have to buy a new bottle to tide you over.

Comb/Brush

Guys are probably guiltier of this than women, but it’s always important to have a brush on hand for a little on-the-go styling. That nap you took on the plane isn’t doing your ‘do any favors, so have a comb on hand to polish up once you land.

Condoms

Seriously, this is a must. Who doesn’t dream of meeting a sexy foreign stranger and engaging in a romantic weekend tryst they can tell all their friends back home about? Well, that tryst isn’t going to end so well without the right equipment, and who knows how easy it’ll be to find once you’re in the moment. Always keep a spare or two in your suitcase, just in case.
