JetBlue and United Airlines’ Blue Sky partnership is making booking flights easier than ever.
As of last month, the two airlines began rolling out a new feature wherein travelers can book select JetBlue flights on United’s website or app, and vice versa. In the future, customers will be able to also book single itineraries, including flights on both JetBlue and United, all in one spot.
The new capabilities are the latest in the advancement of Blue Sky, which, in 2025, began allowing travelers to share loyalty points and miles across both carriers.
“This is an important step forward in our Blue Sky collaboration, expanding the choice and flexibility we offer customers when they travel,” said Marty St. George, president, JetBlue. “This move gives our members even more ability to earn and redeem points to exciting destinations around the world, while United customers gain access to JetBlue’s network across the Americas and Europe.
“Throughout the year, we will enhance the Blue Sky collaboration by introducing reciprocal loyalty perks on flights and expanding Paisly-powered vacation offerings, including United-supported products such as hotels, cruises, rental cars and travel insurance,” St. George added.
Additionally, in 2027, United Airlines will likely enjoy access to new slots for round-trip flights within New York JFK’s Terminal 6, courtesy of JetBlue.
