Seattle-based hemp clothing company Jungmaven has a lofty — but admirable — goal: to get everyone into hemp shirts by 2020 to mitigate climate change.
They’re trying to realize that goal by providing an impressive array of shirt styles and colors. Scrolling through the kaleidoscope of shirts on the website, there are great options that seem to fit just about any taste or style. Most are solid colors, but there are a few fun prints with stripes, squares and more.
The shirts are incredibly soft, comfortable and hold their brilliant color even after several washes. There are a few downsides, though: There are no sizing charts available, and the company doesn’t seem to have great stock available either. Clicking around, you may find a xx-small available in one shirt but not another; others may have only large and x-large options.
For women, the shirts are cut fairly straight, so if you’re interested in clothing that accentuates curves, this isn’t for you. The sleeves on the T-shirts are fairly long, and overall the garments have a baggy appearance. That’s great if it’s what you’re going for, but a sizing chart would help, as well as providing more photos of models rather than just the T-shirt.
