Augusta National Golf Club plays host to The Masters tournament every year in Augusta, Ga.
While the other major golf championships take place at a different course each time, Augusta has the privilege of welcoming the top world golfers each April. It is the first major of each season, giving fans the chance to see which of their heroesimproved in the off season.
Last year, English golfer Danny Willett won and took home $1.8 million in prize money and the coveted green jacket. This year, it is up to his rivals to see if they can dislodge him from the top of the tree at the tournament, which will run from April 3–9.
Augusta is known as a challenging course that keeps the pros on their toes and makes for a great spectacle. The city is found on the Savannah River, around halfway between the cities of Savannah and Atlanta. The latter is around 140 miles to the west, and offers great flight connections.
A four-day ticket to the Masters will cost around $4,500. If your budget won’t stretch, consider a Monday pass, the cheapest on offer, which will set you back around $450.
