Every now and then, any caffeine-loving traveler has to turn to instant coffee. The often gritty, low-flavor substitute for brewed coffee is both the savior and bane of those who need a jolt to get through the day — there when you need it but never as good as the real stuff. But there are some brands that are better than others, and some — gasp! — that even leave you feeling satisfied after downing a cup. Case in point: Mount Hagen Freeze Dried Instant Coffee.
Mount Hagen is the first dried coffee to be certified organic and they work closely with local growers to ensure the highest quality beans are being used. The freeze-drying process holds in more flavor than grinding the beans, trapping oils and ensuring rich but mild flavor. And since it’s organic, it’s a healthier choice than brands that use chemicals during production.
One jar of Mount Hagen, which is lightweight and easy to travel with, will make up to 60 cups of coffee depending on your desired strength. Just add about one teaspoon to hot water and mix, and within minutes you’ll have a steaming cup of coffee. Is it exactly like what you make in your own kitchen, with your favorite beans and coffeemaker? Of course not. But when on the road and lagging, Mount Hagen will get you through without bringing you down. Learn more at InternaturalFoods.com.
