Looking for something fun to do in Nantucket this spring or summer? Check out one of these can’t-miss festivals.

Taking place April 22–24, the Daffodil Festival is the perfect kick-off for the spring season. This year is the 46th iteration of the annual event, which includes an antique car parade and tailgate, children’s bike parade, hat parade and dog parade.

The Nantucket Wine & Food Festival is a must for foodies. Taking place May 18–22, this event brings together winemakers and chefs through seminars, tastings and specialty dining experiences. This year’s host resort is White Elephant.

Find a good read at The Nantucket Book Festival, June 16–19. Ranked one of the best book festivals in New England, presenting authors at the event have included famous names such as Alice Hoffman and Madeline Miller.

Arrive for the Nantucket Book Festival and stick around a few days after to also catch the Nantucket Film Festival, June 22–26. In the past, an array of Academy Award-nominated films have played at the festival, including animated favorites such as Inside Out and Brave. In addition to film showings at the local drive-in, events are also scheduled at private residences all over the island.
