Ojos Locos Sports Cantina Y Casino recently opened to the public in the newly rebranded Hotel Jefe, a collaboration between Las Vegas-based Fifth Street Gaming and Dallas-based Ojos Locos Sports Cantina. This is the first U.S. hotel-casino dedicated to the Latino community. Located in North Las Vegas, Ojos Locos Sports Cantina serves as the casino’s dining, nightlife and entertainment centerpiece.

“As the first-ever Ojos gaming experience in Las Vegas, we are delighted to see thousands of guests from the Latino community already flocking to the cantina and casino,” added Laura Caudillo, vice president of growth, Ojos Locos Sports Cantina. “This is just the beginning of the Ojos Locos dining, entertainment and nightlife excitement in Las Vegas.”

Ojos Locos Sports Cantina Y Casino includes a 10,000-square-foot casino; restaurant; a large video poker bar; and Ojos Locos’ famous “chicas,” the cocktail servers and bartenders. The casino also boasts 200 new slot and gaming machines, the JefeBet Rewards program, a new sports book and 90 TV screens.

Hotel Jefe features 90 guestrooms and suites, currently in the midst of a major renovation. About 40 percent of the revitalization is complete, with the rest expected to be finished by the end of 2023.

“We are thrilled with the positive reception the new hotel-casino has already received and look forward to welcoming more valued guests to this exciting new gaming and entertainment destination catering to the Latino community,” said Seth Schorr, chief executive officer, Fifth Street Gaming.
