Flights, packing lists, budgets, check-in, check-out. With everything you need to remember and organize for your next vacation, when will you have time to actually have a vacation?
A new app called TripVerse steps into this role and makes it easy for you to plan, reserve and access your itinerary both on- and offline. The process is simple: Log onto the website or app and create an account. Then create your first trip by entering the destination, dates and any notes or tags you’d like to apply. TripVerse automatically generates a list of interesting things to do and see in that locale and arranges them into convenient categories like arts, outdoors, food and nightlife.
When you’re ready to enter planning mode for your upcoming trip, you can create a bucket list to include sights or activities that you know you want to see. From there, skim through the list of suggestions and add any interesting items to your itinerary, which can be scheduled by day. To add a new activity or sight, click the ‘plus’ sign to see the address and any public notes furnished by the attraction such as hours of operation. You can also add your own private notes for your eyes only.
As you hover over various items on the generated list, their locations appear on the map next to the list, allowing you to plan your itinerary of attractions in terms of their proximities to each other. This also helps you get a lay of the land and visualize your route through your destination.
The ease of use and (free!) accessibility of TripVerse makes it a trusty travel companion.
