Weddings / Bachelor/ette Parties

The fall months are quickly gaining on June as the most popular time to plan a wedding. This means more brides consider this time of year for their bachelorette parties. While beach destinations remain a mainstay for brides-to-be, don’t rule out a fall bachelorette party. Follow our tips and embrace the cool weather, fall foliage and pumpkin-spice everything.

If you want to fully embrace fall-friendly activities, kick off the bachelorette festivities at a pumpkin patch or apple orchard. Pumpkin and/or apple picking is a fun, active way to start the day. Depending on the location, the farm might sell ready-made fall treats. Cap off your experience with some apple cider or pumpkin cookies.

Go on a winery tour. In many parts of the country, breathtaking foliage marks the season. What better way to experience fall foliage up close than on a visit to a winery? Spend time tasting the offerings then explore the vineyards. Orchards, farms and vineyards are great for a bridal party photo op.

If the bride likes a good scare, book a ghost tour or a visit to a haunted house or hayride. Combine the bachelorette party with Halloween celebrations. Dress up following a theme of the bride’s choice and go to a local bar with Halloween specials.
