Weddings / Honeymoons

Going on your honeymoon is the perfect opportunity to travel to the destination of your dreams — but what if there are several places on your travel bucket list? Take this time to plan a multi-destination honeymoon to satisfy your wanderlust and have the trip of a lifetime.

Consider the type of honeymoon you’d like to have: Adventurous, relaxing, educational, etc. If you and your new spouse prefer to spend your time relaxing, look into island hopping in the Caribbean or South Pacific. Since many of these islands are close together, it makes visiting more than one island simple. For the museum-loving couple, take a European honeymoon. Travel within one country — explore art in Italy. Or go to multiple countries to explore museums — the Rijksmuseum in The Netherlands, The Louvre in France and the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao in Spain.

To see more of the United States, take a cross-country road trip. This offers the chance to explore parts of the country you wouldn’t normally. If you would prefer to stick to one area, drive along the west coast and experience the iconic Pacific Coast Highway.

If you can’t decide, take two! Many couples are contributing to a recent trend of taking a mini-moon immediately after the wedding followed by a larger scale trip months or even a year later. This is the perfect opportunity to book a long weekend in your favorite U.S. city and plan a more extravagant trip to a place you’ve never been at a later time.
