So much research has gone into finding out how to get the perfect night’s sleep that it was only a matter of time before someone discovered how to do it on a plane. Turns out it was so difficult it took an actual rocket scientist. The result is the PowerSiesta.
This “napper” is designed to provide a solution for sleeping in uncomfortable positions, whether on a plane, train or bus, while also eliminating back and neck pain.
The PowerSiesta is roughly the size of a magazine and is made of corrugated cardboard for a durable finish that can withstand the test of time, while also being 100 percent recyclable. It folds open as if you were unwrapping a cheeseburger, then connects back in the middle with inside flaps. You simply stand it up and make yourself comfortable. It’s ergonomically designed to allow your head to rest at the right angle for a perfect night’s rest.
Customers also receive a slide-on pillow that goes overtop in order to help aid your comfort. It’s compact, it’s comfy and, at only $25 a pop, it’s pretty affordable too. The Indiegogo campaign met its fundraising total back in January and the first orders began shipping in August.
