No, you don’t have to cruise with Disney in order to feel the magic on the high seas. Princess Cruises plans to host a magic-themed cruise next month.
Dubbed the Magic Castle Conjurer’s Cruise, the cruise takes place aboard Discovery Princess, Oct. 7–14, departing from Los Angeles for a round-trip cruise with stops in San Francisco, San Diego and Mexico. The cruise is made possible via a partnership with the Magic Castle, a private club in Hollywood catering to professional magicians and their fans.
Throughout the cruise, travelers can expect plenty of performances, plus magic workshops and lectures, magic-themed events, film showings, and historical displays and presentations related to all things magic. Otherwise, travelers will enjoy exploring the newest ship in the Princess fleet, as well as shore excursions like visits to wineries and natural attractions.
“The cruise will be a true celebration of the magical arts, connecting magicians from our acclaimed community with enthusiasts who are fascinated by this mysterious world. We look forward to sharing the magic as we sail upon the stunning Discovery Princess, making our way along our gorgeous and native California coast,” said Erika Larsen, president, Magic Castle Enterprises.
