The PuppComm is the first mobile dog monitor that works in every environment. Designed to keep your dog safe when you’re not around, it’s a great device for every traveler with a dog.
The palm-sized device sits next to your dog — on their crate, a seatbelt or posts — and monitors the environment for a variety of factors that might affect your dog’s happiness and health. Internal sensors are able to track temperature, humidity, location and sounds. You’ll know when your dog is overheating or if he’s anxious. Once the PuppComm picks up on any abnormalities, it sends a notification straight to an app on your phone so you’re notified immediately.
The app is easily tailored to your dog’s needs. It provides information based upon your pup’s breed, allows you to set custom notifications for your email, holds emergency contacts and even offers recommendations from veterinarians. One of the coolest features in the embedded microphone that lets you interact with concerned passersby who might be worried about your dog.
PuppComm comes with an embroidered nylon pull-tab, a high-strength bungee strap and a bungee hook to let you hang it from just about any surface. It comes with a micro-USB charging point and RGB LED status light so you know it’s working.
The PuppComm will retail for $199 with first shipments expected to begin April 2019. Check out the website for more information on features and how to order one of your own.
