The Manor at Camp John Hay is nestled 5,000 feet above sea level and offers breathtaking views of the landscape surrounding Baguio City. The world-class hotel is one of the most popular resorts in the Philippines and offers a luxurious retreat in a stunning location.
The hotel is spread across four stories and offers 172 rooms on a property spanning nearly 608 acres. It boasts an on-site greenhouse, a wellness studio, spa, a restaurant and a piano bar, among other facilities. Its location near Mines View Park and other popular attractions make it ideal for a trip to Baguio. They also offer a van that takes you to the heart of the city.
The rooms are tastefully decorated and spacious, but lack modern appeal. The hotel focuses on creating an authentic Baguio experience so the decor mimics traditional design in the city and surrounding areas. Some of them even include private balconies. One low point was the rooms don’t have AC, so as to further immerse you in the experience. While this might not be an issue most of the year, in the middle of summer it can be overbearing. However, the staff were truly delightful and the grounds themselves were beautiful.
A combination of excellent service, a great locationI and ample amenities made staying at The Manor at Camp John Hay a truly enjoyable experience.
