Shopping for a cause is more common now than ever thanks to companies like Sevenly.org. This company not only donates proceeds from every purchase to a charity in need, but they also create awareness for different causes each week.

Sevenly.org began in 2011 and has raised more than $4.5 million for charity to date. They team with various charities in need of funding and raise awareness for their cause through “cause art.”

All merchandise for sales associated with a specific charity donates 7 percent of proceeds to that charity. All of the other merchandise on the site gives 100 percent of the profits back to the partners who come from charities of all sizes and causes.

Awareness is a vital part of the Sevenly mission statement. By sharing the organization’s story, history and cause, the exposure Sevenly provides can assist in future funding on a broader scale.
