Everyone has been in a gift shop during their travels and seen a revolving rack of postcards depicting the best that the destination has to offer. It may be a nice thought to pick out a postcard and mail it to a friend or family member back home, but often it’s just not that easy. Most of us don’t carry stamps in our luggage, and even if we did, the postage and rates change from country to country. Plus, there’s the issue of even finding a post office with your busy travel itinerary.
This is where Postcardly comes in. Postcardly is an online service that takes your personal travel photos, turns them into a postcard, prints your words on the back and mails it to wherever you want in the world. After signing up, you create your Postcardly address book with the addresses of whom you’ll be sending postcards to. Then, all you do to send your card is snap your picture, email it to Postcardly with your 100-word message in the body of the email and your card is printed and mailed, reaching its destination typically within a week.
Sending postcards within the United States is $1 per card, and the price decreases the more cards that you buy per month. Sending postcards internationally is $2 per card. First-time Postcardly customers receive a free trial of three postcards.
