Your old cotton hoody just won’t cut it when you’re on the road, so it’s worth investing in a dedicated travel jacket.

The Sheer Jacket promises to revolutionize the travel jacket game, packing tons of useful features into a sharply designed garment that wouldn’t look out of place on the catwalk. For starters, it’s made of water-resistant and odorless bamboo fabric, perfect for keeping you fresh wherever you are.

A removable hood contains an integrated travel pillow and sleeping mask, allowing you to get some well-deserved rest in transit. For daytime use, myriad pockets keep all of your stuff safe and close at hand. There is a space for your passport, another for your smartphone and yet another for your sunglasses.

Inside the jacket you’ll find large utility pouches for bigger items such as iPads, a great way of keeping your belongings safe during long bus trips. No more falling asleep with your iPad on your lap: Simply stash it in your jacket and listen to music with the peace of mind no one can steal it.

Functionality is increased by thoughtful design features such as an earphone cable opening, and a magnetic earphone holder that keeps your buds fixed to the lapel of the jacket when not in use. Other useful features include concealed gloves which can be folded out of the sleeves as required, and a utility clip that includes a bottle opener for those road beers.

The jacket will retail for $160 following a successful Kickstarter campaign. It is available in blue, grey and black.
