Clearwater Beach and Siesta Beach constantly vie for the top spot among visitors to Florida. They both boast beautiful beaches and clear oceans, but which one is truly better? To answer that question, visitors have to look at everything offered in the area, and not just the beaches. Which beach area has the best bar or restaurant? Are the beaches equally matched in beauty and traffic? These are questions that need to be answered to determine the true winner.
Siesta Key has an amazing beach. The sand is 99 percent quartz, keeping it cool to touch even on the hottest days. The beach stretches out for miles, giving visitors plenty of room to enjoy a part of the beach without feeling crowded. The view of the clear, blue ocean is pure and looks just like beaches on postcards. Siesta Key offers free parking and many say it has a more neighborhood feel than Clearwater.
Clearwater is closer to Orlando with more hotel options than Siesta Beach. Clearwater also has more entertainment than Siesta Key and features a boardwalk many visitors enjoy. The beach is pretty and well kept. Clearwater might be a better option for those looking for more entertainment and hotel options.
