Sommsation: A Virtual Wine-Tasting Platform Connecting People Through Wine

Sommsation handles all of the logistics, with the user only needing to select a 90-minute wine tasting from a range of curated experiences based on whichever theme, tasting note, location or varietal the user chooses to build. Some of the experiences featured include “Taste of Paso Robles,” “Sparkling Trilogy” and “Sustainable Vines.”

Once a user selects an experience, Sommsation selects three full bottles of wine and ships them directly and individually to the user and the rest of the group attending the session. Then, Sommsation matches the user’s selected experience to a professional sommelier who leads the group, sharing stories on how each of the wines were produced, the background of the winery, what makes each wine unique and the best food pairings to go with each bottle.
