Sonesta St. Maarten, two all-inclusive resorts comprising the luxe, adults-only Sonesta Ocean Point Resort and family-centric Sonesta Maho Beach Resort, Casino & Spa, recently announced the opening of the new Seascape Pool as part of the Sonesta Ocean Point Resort experience. Complete with both shallow area and deck loungers, drink service, swim-up bar, and exclusive views of the Dutch-Caribbean coastline and Maho Bay, the new Seascape pool creates a new experience for pool guests.
“Our team aims to consistently enhance the overall luxe guest experience for stays at Sonesta Ocean Point Resort,” said Jamie Lee, vice president, operations, Sonesta Resorts St. Maarten. “A pristine Dutch-Caribbean coastline combined with year-round sunshine lends way for us to create the ideal setting for our guests to select from with a range of water features from fun to serene. We are thrilled to continue to develop new amenities and ways for travelers to enjoy.”
The new pool experience features eight shallow area loungers, 38 surrounding deck loungers, three large and 17 small umbrella set-ups, and a swim-up bar. Guests staying at the adults-only property can now enjoy Seascape Pool and see what all the hype is about. Besides Seascape Pool, the resort also offers the signature Edge Pool with a zero-entry cliffside beach; semi-private, exclusive swim-out pool suites; and the newly refreshed Point Pool.
