My husband found a great deal on flights from Atlantic City (ACY) to Myrtle Beach (MYR) on Spirit Airlines for a recent trip. This was my first time flying the airline and my first visit to the Atlantic City Airport. I was pleasantly surprised by both.
Based on some stories I’ve heard about the airline, particularly about the comfort of the cabin and last-minute cancellations, I was slightly apprehensive about the flight. We prepaid to check one suitcase, though I was still anxious about the size of our carry-on bags meeting the airline’s requirements. When we arrived to the airport, we easily checked in our suitcase at the self-serve kiosk and took it to the baggage drop before making our way through security.
We were early for our flight and had a drink before making our way to our gate. The boarding process began shortly after. The gate agents were friendly and helpful and we were in our seats in no time. The seats were more comfortable than I expected and I was able to doze during the flight, shorter than an hour. Within no time, we were on the ground and ready to start our vacation.
On the return flight, my husband was in the lucky middle seat and received a voucher for 5,000 rewards miles. It was a nice parting gift for our first Spirit experience.
Hamburg is not only the second-largest city in Germany, but it also boasts one of the greatest ports in Europe. Though the city is chock full of incredible seafood restaurants, you’ll find there’s a little something special no matter what you’re craving.
We can see it now and remember when it happened to us: Watching as the black car icon loops around and around, seemingly endlessly, and our wait time on the rideshare app continually changes. Long wait times and confused drivers are just a few bothersome issues that can nag at rideshare users. Need a solution? Ditch rideshares altogether in favor of renting a car on your next trip.
