How to Stave Off Pre-Trip Jitters

No matter how many times you have buckled your seatbelt and put your tray table in the upright position, embarking on an unpredictable adventure can be a frightening feat that involves flying thousands of miles, not knowing the local language and potentially getting lost in a scary new place. If you tend to face these pre-trip moments of anxiety, follow the tips below to assuage your worries and enjoy your vacation the way it was meant to be.

Prepare, but cut yourself some slack. We can prepare as much as humanly possible, but there are still aspects of the travel experience that we cannot predict or prepare for. Learning to face this reality and let go of the need to always be in control will make for a more relaxing and enjoyable journey.
