Oct 26, 2015The Capital Grille
We arrived before our Friday night dinner reservation at The Capital Grille, but were still seated immediately. Our waiter, Joe, was incredibly helpful during our meal. The Capital Grille hosts their drink list on iPads and Joe walked us through their selection, offering his suggestions. I started with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc and we ordered the cold shellfish platter. The refreshing plate included a chilled, one-pound lobster, shrimp cocktail and oysters on the half shell. If you’re a shellfish fan, this appetizer is a must. We quickly cleared our plates.

After opening in 1999, Maui’s Dog House has become a culinary staple of North Wildwood, serving returning fans summer after summer and even getting featured on Guy Fieri’s Diners, Drive-In’s and Dives. I recently got to enjoy Maui’s signature franks for the first time. The restaurant was set with outdoor picnic tables under a bright orange awning, perfect for a summer day in Wildwood.
