It’s hard to come across a Michelin-starred restaurant in Dublin, as it’s mostly known for it’s traditional meat and potatoes-style of dining, but Chapter One manages to serve up both in one spectacular place.
The amount of food here can be overwhelming, but they offer you the option of checking out their entire cookbook rather than just a menu and it’s extremely helpful. The photos are spectacular and really give you an idea of the kind of food you can expect. The service here is also some of the best I’ve seen.
It’s fine dining yet with a casual atmosphere. You will have to pay more upscale prices, but the food I had was delicious. I ordered a plate of the smoked haddock along with some mushroom tapioca and a couple of cups of their enchanting Irish coffee, which is served tableside and you get to watch them heat the sugar before pouring in the drink.
The food was simply amazing and the overall experience was superb. I’ll definitely be recommending it to my friends and I can’t wait to get back and try more of the mouth-watering desserts I saw all around me.
