Packing is an important element of any trip, with good organization reducing stress and keeping things running smoothly.
From packing cubes to vacuum bags, there are countless products which promise to keep your larger items in check. However, even the most organized travelers are sometimes still guilty of chucking all of their toiletries into one disorganized bag.
Inside you’ll find spilled toothpaste, razor blades just waiting to slice your finger and a toothbrush that spends more time cleaning the bag than it does your teeth. While many people accept this status quo, the makers of Tashtego decided to bring organization to travel toiletries.
The Tashtego has a number of individual slots designed to hold travel essentials such as razors, toothbrushes and soap. When the Tashtego is unfolded, you can quickly access each item without the need for rummaging around.
Once you are done in the bathroom, simply roll up the Tashtego and stash it in your pack. The roll is held together by a leather belt, which means all of your stuff will be in the same place the next time you need to use it.
By using high-quality materials, the company made a rugged toiletries kit that will last long enough to accompany you on many future trips. It’s more hygienic than a standard toiletry bag and quite frankly looks cooler to boot.
The Tashtego had a successful Kickstarter campaign and is now available to pre-order from the company website for $35. You can choose from navy, olive, charcoal, black and dark oak to match the rest of your travel gear.
