Kickstarter is home to a steady stream of travel bag campaigns, and the Voyage is the latest.
Sondre Travel, the company behind the Voyage bag, successfully brought the Voyage travel pillow to market in April 2017, and the team is back with a new product.
The Voyage bag is a two-in-one design that can convert from backpack to duffel bag. Its minimalist design combines with well-designed functionality to make an intriguing product in a crowded market.
It’s made from 300D Polyester, known for its water resistance and durability while keeping weight to a minimum. The black and grey color makes the bag fit for use in formal and casual situations, while the backpack straps pack away for great versatility.
Inside, a large center compartment is surrounded by smaller pockets for easy packing. There is a laptop sleeve that keeps your computer in place, and compartments for shoes and other items.
It looks like a good bag for those that need a flexible carry-on. The Voyage might be slightly too large for everyday use, but if you always carry a lot of stuff with you, perhaps you’ll need the extra space.
The Voyage bag will retail for $109 following a Kickstarter campaign. Backers will receive bags by February 2018.
