Safety

The idea of traveling solo might seem frightening, strange and not as fun as traveling with others. However, solo travel has become an increasing trend as travelers are finding it less stressful and an easier way to meet fellow journeymen.

Embrace your solitude

Traveling alone is a great way to experience time to yourself. You can spend hours upon hours doing what you want to do. Maybe you want to visit a museum with a pricey entrance fee, or take a grueling hike to the top of a mountain for better views of the city. When you’re alone, you don’t have to ask anyone else what they want to do. You’re free to make your own trip decisions, which can change at the last minute without affecting anyone but you.

Keep an eye on your budget

Running out of money when you travel with others isn’t as big of a problem as it is when you are solo. Keep tabs on your budget with a small notebook tracking all of your spending. Also make sure to keep a little extra in your balance for emergencies.

Socialize

As solo travel becomes more common, it also has become much easier to meet like-minded travelers on your journey. Exchange tips and stories and maybe you’ll add a destination to your itinerary you hadn’t previously considered.

Platform Helps Remote Workers, Business Travelers Find Work-Friendly Hotels

If you’ve ever attempted to work on the go — not necessarily for a business trip, but just because your job offers the flexibility of remote working — you may have struggled with working from your hotel room. Your options are typically plugging your laptop in next to a tiny in-room table, if you’re lucky, or you’re stuck answering emails from your hotel bed — hardly conducive to productivity.
