For a little history and heritage, check out the many monuments of D.C., starting with the Lincoln Memorial. See the 16th President decked out in marble or walk the National Mall and see all the historical promenade has to offer.

National Museum of Natural History

After seeing the go-to spots like the White House and U.S. Capitol, head inside and see the natural wonders of the worldin the National Museum of Natural History. The Smithsonian Institution is located within the Mall, so you wont have to venture too far to see all the museum system has to offer.

The Smithsonian National Zoo

The Smithsonian National Zoo is free and a must see in any season, especially now with a baby panda on-site. The Zoo is home to many animals, but panda bears Mei Xian, Tian Tian and their baby Bei Bei are stealing the show.
