One of the perks of working remotely is the flexibility to work from any location. Researchers at CoworkingCafe recently conducted a study of the best holiday destinations for remote workers. The study analyzed key metrics, including number of leisure and restaurant establishments, access to coworking spaces and price of goods in more than 300 cities across the United States. Leisure venues include museums, historical sites, amusement parks, spas and performing arts venues.
Florida is the most popular state overall, with seven cities appearing in the top 15 list, including Fort Lauderdale in the top spot. Greenville, South Carolina, takes the second spot due to having the second-highest number of both leisure and restaurant establishments per 10,000 residents. California has two cities in the top 10, including Newport Beach, which ranked in first place for the number of coworking spaces per 10,000 residents.
