Vacation rentals, group tours, flights, things to do, restaurants and, now, cruises. TripAdvisor’s booking services continue to take the travel world by storm by offering members the chance to research and book cruises directly on their site.

TripAdvisor will treat cruise lines just like any other business, where members have the opportunity to rate and review the cruise company and to leave reviews about their experiences, thus helping future cruise passengers in their decisions.

Thanks to TripAdvisor’s other booking sections, travelers also can book flights and on-land hotel rooms they may need before and after the cruise without leaving the site.

In using the “Ship-tineraries” feature, travelers can select a cruise company, the model of the vessel that interests them and then view itineraries for the ship, photos of the cabins, photos of the ship, how many passengers the ship accommodates and what services and activities are available on board. When taking into account all cruise companies and itineraries, TripAdvisor will have an inventory of more than 70 million cruise options.

TripAdvisor statistics show 44 percent of its members are “cruise shoppers” and more than 30 million people will take a cruise in 2019, an increase of 34 percent compared with the previous five years.
