Twisters Yoga Studio

There are few better feelings in the world than discovering a truly wonderful fitness studio — one that offers great prices; qualified and experienced professionals; a clean, relaxing space; and great schedule options. I recently stumbled across such a studio in Ambler, Pa.

Twisters Wellness Center, located in Ambler and Erdenheim, Pa., is a full-service wellness facility offering high-quality classes in multiple styles of yoga, Barre and Pilates. The studio offers class formats and private one-on-one lessons.

I’ve taken several classes at Twisters now, and so far I’ve loved each one. The studio offers more than 70 yoga classes a week in a variety of styles including classic, Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga and Hot Yoga — something for every skill level and personal intention. The studios for yoga are clean, full of natural light and beautifully but simply decorated. My Vinyasa class was both relaxing and challenging, and the teacher went out of her way to encourage correct posture and execution to encourage improvement and safety. There are also several Pilates options, including classic Pilates Mat, Reformer and Fusion classes — each carefully led by a certified teacher.

In addition to the regular classes, the studio offers a host of group retreats, events and workshops. Convenient 30-day unlimited introductory passes are available to try out the studio, and from there you can choose from one–20-class packages or annual memberships.
