While the Balearic Island has long been Mecca for dance music, Las Vegas has transformed itself from a gambling town into America’s own clubbing destination. The most notable announcement for this season is Kaskade’s residency at XS Night Club and Encore Beach Club, where he will be play about 50 shows through January 2017.
Vegas favorite Hakkasan will also host a number of superstars. Three years after the dissolution of Swedish House Mafia, the duo Axwell /\ Ingrosso has headlined shows all over the world in addition to releasing singles for their upcoming album. With their recent addition to Hakkasan’s residency lineup. the duo joins the likes of Calvin Harris, Tiësto, Steve Aoki and more.
While Vegas has been criticized for its pop-oriented sound, Marquee is attempting to find a balance between Ibiza and Electric Daisy Carnival with its 2016 roster. DJs making appearances at The Cosmopolitan this year include a range of artists Benny Benassi, Duke Dumont, Tritonal, Loco Dice and Eric Prydz.

A new study from Allianz Partners found Americans spent quite a bit more on their spring break trips this year than they did in 2024. The average spring break trip was $5,325 in 2025, more than a 10 percent increase from 2024.
