Celebrate the holiday season in Scottdale! There are numerous events and activities happening now through the beginning of January. Visit Scottsdazzle, Old Town’s annual holiday event with singalongs, a tree lighting ceremony, meetings with Santa and more. The event runs Nov. 27–Dec. 31. Head to Fairmont Scottsdale Princess for Christmas at the Princess. The annual celebration features a desert ice skating rink, light shows, igloos, holiday character appearances, s’mores making and other activities.
Hotels in Scottsdale have new offerings for visitors this season. Book a stay at W Scottsdale and take advantage of the property’s new spa- and foodie-themed packages. Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Gainey Ranch debuts a new outdoor venue with a 1,600-square-foot lawn and a 3,700-square-foot patio. Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale recently revealed its $2 million complete indoor meeting space renovation.
Explore Scottsdale’s food and drink scene. Craft beer bar Vanilla Gorilla recently opened, with local Arizona beers and small bites. Visit Carlson Creek Tasting Room and enjoy the vineyard’s new winter wines. Mexican bistro Mama por Díos is set to open soon. The restaurant currently has two locations in California.
