The Grove Hotel lies in the heart of downtown Boise and its location makes it convenient to many of the city’s most popular restaurants, shops and attractions. I booked a stay here during my last visit for precisely that reason and I found myself pleased with the service and accommodation the hotel provided.
During my stay I was set up in a King Deluxe room with bountiful amenities including complimentary WiFi, room service, evening turndown service, a 42-inch television, a refrigerator and a ridiculously comfortable mattress with an oversized comforter that might have caused me to oversleep my first full day in town.
A highlight of the hotel was Emilio’s, the in-house restaurant with an elegant atmosphere and insanely delicious food. It was so good I could’ve eaten there for every meal. Other amenities include a bar with live piano music; a fitness club and spa, the latter of which I took advantage of; and a 24-hour business center for those needing to hold a meeting or get some work done.
Also, a great bonus was the shuttle that runs directly from the airport to the hotel. That’s always a plus! The Grove is a little on the pricey side, but I think this is a classic case of you get what you pay for and the wealth of amenities make it worth every dime. I’d certainly recommend the hotel to a friend and plan on staying here again next time I’m in town.
