Bayou Bacchanal, Nov. 5
Taking place in Crescent Park and considered the original Caribbean Carnival of New Orleans, this fun festival is a celebration of all things Caribbean, from culture to cuisine. Grab your tickets and get ready for a day of colorful fun, dancing and food.
Oak Street Po-Boy Festival, Nov. 6
A festival that’s all about the food, though, is the Oak Street Po-Boy Festival, on Nov. 6. Taking place in the Garden District, on Oak Street of course, this free event is an opportunity to chow down on the famed sandwich of New Orleans. The festival will also include plenty of live music, vendors and other street fair-style fun.
Hell Yes Fest, Nov. 8–14
A longer festival, Hell Yes Fest is a large comedy festival drawing not just crowds from all over the country, but also more than 50 comics, with more than a dozen headliner shows across three venues. If you’re looking for a laugh, you’re bound to find it among all the various experiences of this fantastic fest.
