You may not enjoy thinking about your feet or spending much time considering what to put on them, but frequent travelers often find themselves considering their socks. From the physical logistics of long-distance travel (plenty of airports around the world still require shoe removal at security checkpoints and many people prefer removing their shoes during flights) to cultural activities abroad (houses of worship and personal homes often require shoe removal), travelers find their feet out in public, often dirty, places fairly often, and the importance of quality socks and of odor management become more serious considerations.
MP Magic Socks were a crowd-funded project designed to develop and produce comfortable, odorless socks that could withstand exposure to unclean places and prevent the bacteria that causes foot odor so people could find themselves in shoeless scenarios without worry. After the success of the initial campaign, more than 200,000 pairs were sold and the brand more recently expanded the line to include a greater variety of athletic and dress socks for everyday use.
By infusing zinc, silver and copper into the fabric using aeriospace design technology, MP Magic Socks dramatically reduce the bacteria that form on feet (and cause foot odor when interacting with sweat) and can effectively be worn for up to six days of normal wear without needing to be washed, making them especially useful for travelers with limited space. Because they’re also supremely soft and carefully cushioned in key areas (some even have extra ankle padding), they’re equally great for athletes or adventure travelers looking for comfortable, resilient socks that can stand up to the sweat levels of high-intensity activities.
While you probably shouldn’t intentionally go six days without washing your socks, with MP Magic Socks, you can. But, more importantly, you can rest assured you can take off your shoes in public without fear of any odor even if you’re just wearing them for one day.
