All non-New Yorkers, get ready to be green with envy. The world’s first avocado bar is a real thing — Brooklyn now has one. Eating avocado toast in a Brooklyn warehouse sounds like the ultimate hipster experience, but Avocaderia is more than just for millennial Instagrammers.

The innovative bar in the borough’s Sunset Park district is the place for everything avocado, from smoothies to salads and, yes, toast. The Moroccan decorated, tiled avocado bar can be found serving other specialties like tuna and avocado ceviche, all to go.

The inspiration came from Francesco Brachetti, a Florence, Italy, native, who fell in love with avocados while living in Mexico. He persuaded his cousin, chef Alberto Gramini, also from Florence, and a friend, Alessandro Biggi, from Modena, to go into the avocado business. He became impressed by the fruit’s flavor and health benefits, which resulted in the three crafting a menu of dishes that aimed to be healthy and appetizing. The result: Avocaderia.

The menu includes several avocado on toast options, as well as guacamole and salads. Currently, the only drinks offered are cold-brew coffee and fresh juices, but avocado smoothies will soon be added. Let It Beet Toast, $6.50, includes creamy avocado and earthy beetroot hummus on crusty sourdough — pumpkin seeds lead each brunch into a delicious crunch. Customers can double up on avocado on any item for an additional $2.

The bar serves up to-go orders 11 a.m.– 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
