A new airline brands itself as the first “premium leisure airline” in the world. Beond Airline launched this month with its first aircraft, an Airbus A319, outfitted to accommodate just more than 40 passengers, all in lie-flat, first-class-worthy seats. To start, the airline, based in the Maldives, offers flights between the Maldives and destinations throughout Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific.
“Our aim is simple: to fly our customers to the most unique and unspoiled destinations where they can release their inner explorer on the most memorable vacation of their lives,” said Tero Taskila, CEO and founder, Beond.
So, what makes the Beond experience different, other than its focus on luxury lifestyle destinations? In addition to modern, stylish, intimate and luxuriously appointed aircraft, Beond ensures the flight experience is as comfortable as possible for passengers, from beginning to end. Passengers enjoy private, chauffeured airport transfers; airport lounge access; and elegant in-flight dining.
To celebrate its launch, Beond offers fare specials on select routes when booked by Nov. 15 for travel through Dec. 15. Qualifying routes include round-trip itineraries between the Maldives and Riyadh, Munich and Zürich, starting at $1,028.
