The Berlin neighborhood of Neukolln has been the place to see and be seen for a while now. Beuster Bar was well-placed to ride the wave of interest in the area when it opened two years ago, and has done well to build up a loyal clientele. Whether it’s beers, cocktails or food you’re after, you’ll be spoiled for choice.
In the warmer months, there are a number of outside tables perfect for sipping on an Aperol Spritz in the sun. In the winter, the action moves inside, where the interior design is at once trendy and welcoming.
An antique bar and a couple of booths dominate the front room, while the back room is home to a decent array of tables. It’s an atmospheric place, and one that gives the impression people are plotting by candlelight.
The food is delicious, with octopus and burrata starters both top notch. This is followed by seared salmon, grilled chicken and steak tartare main courses, shared between the group. It’s top drawer cuisine and everyone can be heard cooing with delight.
It’s worth booking for larger groups because Beuster Bar has proven to be a roaring success with locals and tourists alike. Finish off your meal with an espresso martini, sink some beers with the bohemian crowd and then head off to explore the rest of Neukolln. Or stay, because this place is that good.

Insta FeedAre You Ready for the Final Switch to Real ID?
Yesterday, TSA began enforcing new identification guidelines, a change that’s been a long-time coming. Now, travelers must show a REAL ID-compliant, state-issued ID in order to fly on domestic flights, in lieu of a non-compliant driver’s license (some other forms of identification, such as passports, will still be acceptable).
