Trends / Food & Drink

Situated outside of Washington D.C., Prince William & Manassas county is a hidden gem in Virginia. The quaint county offers beautiful scenery, historical landmarks and plenty of unique dining experiences.

For breakfast, stop by Jirani Coffeehouse. The coffee shop and community center serves up sweet and savory breakfast items from local bakers. Be sure to sample their goodies from Pies + Petals and Sweet Pearlz Cheesecakes. Duck Donuts is another popular spot among locals and tourists. With dozens of unique, rotating flavors, there’s something for everyone.

Prince William & Manassas boasts many great sit-down restaurants. For Irish-inspired bar food, visit Grafton Street. Annie’s Kitchen Table specializes in local, seasonal fare. Travinia Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar features classic Italian cuisine. Bottle Stop Wine Bar boasts an impressive wine selection and tasty small plates. For fine dining with a view, look no further than Tidewater Grill, located at the Potomac Shores Golf Club.

Don’t forget the wine and beer! The Winery at La Grange is housed in a 1790 manor house. The tasting room is open seven days a week. A short drive away, Tin Cannon Brewing Co. brews and sells craft beers, with up to 12 beers on tap at a time. The taproom is open Thursday–Sunday. If spirits are more your style, stop by KO Distilling. Take a guided tour or skip right to the tastings.
