Virginia Spirits Month

Celebrate the state’s unique distilleries all September long. Explore Virginia Distillery Trail, with dozens of options throughout the state. The free Virginia Spirits Mobile Passport offers suggested itineraries of distilleries serving an array of spirits. Be sure to stop at the five Virginia Beach distilleries participating in Spirits Month: Beach Vodka, Chesapeake Bay Distillery, New Realm Distillery, Tarnished Truth Distilling Company and Waterman Spirits.

Virginia Wine Month

Virginia is home to more than 300 wineries. Ahead of the official start of wine month in October, check out the 27th Annual Fall Wine Festival in Virginia Beach Sept. 13. Sample wine from more than 60 Virginia wineries while enjoying live music and fare from local food trucks. Virginia Beach boasts several unique wineries, wine bars and tasting rooms. Dine at Zoë’s Steak & Seafood and enjoy pairings suggested by the award-winning, in-house sommelier. Experience special tasting events throughout the month.
