If you’re planning to fly with Alaska Airlines soon, you may be surprised by a few recent amenity changes.
As of this fall, Alaska Airlines added two new beverages to its in-flight service: Lagunitas Hoppy Refresher, a non-alcoholic hoppy water, and a ready-to-drink Straightaway Nitro Espresso Martini made with Stumptown Coffee Roasters coffee. Regarding the former, Alaska Airlines said it was the first U.S. major airline to serve hoppy water. These beverage changes are in addition to other new beverages that made their way to the airline last month, including new wines.
The airline is also changing its first-class blankets. A new offering comes from Filson, a Pacific Northwest-based outdoor outfitter. Additionally, on-board restrooms and airport lounge restrooms will now be stocked with Salt & Stone products, including soaps and lotions.
“Our guests value unique, high-quality experiences, and these new products allow us to elevate their journey while bringing a bit of regional pride to every flight,” said Todd Traynor-Corey, managing director of guest products, Alaska Airlines. “Partnering with Lagunitas, Filson, Salt & Stone and other West Coast companies is reflective of our commitment to support local brands and provide the ultimate premium guest experience.”
