Nightly Spirits is the country’s largest haunted pub tour, with outposts in 12 different locations across the United States. The Chicago version offers regular spooks, with otherworldly adventures for groups of 15 to 20 guests.
For just $25 guests spend 2.5 hours with their appropriately attired tour guides, who offer a wealth of knowledge and personality with specialties in Chicago’s paranormal side. You’ll visit off-limit areas found at Chicago’s most haunted watering holes while you sip craft cocktails with ghoulish themes.
The Chicago tour starts off at Red Lion Pub in Lincoln Park and takes a mile-long route with three to four stops, with special focuses on some of Chicago’s most infamous deceased, including Dillinger and Capone. “Spirit” sightings are guaranteed, but you can be the judge of their authenticity.
Drinks aren’t included or required in your tour, though, so make sure you bring a little extra cash or your credit card so you can enjoy all the spirits offered, including the boozy ones, and keep in mind all tour members must be 21 or older — no kids allowed.
