Chimani National Parks App

With more than 400 opportunities to explore America’s national parks, it can be difficult to know where to start and, once you choose a park, to decide what to see and do. Lovers of all things parks can take advantage of a park-oriented mobile app from the Chimani line, a collection of mobile assistants that help park-goers not only navigate the country’s expansive spaces but also to learn more about the parks and figure out how to spend their quality time.

Chimani’s collective National Parks app is available to download for free and allows users to peruse information, maps and details about their surroundings. Using GPS technology, the National Parks app serves as a virtual park ranger to guide you through the various trails, sites and camping spots in the park.

When exploring remote locations without WiFi connectivity, an offline version of the app is available so information is never out of reach. The app also can send push notifications to users when news or events pop up, which can be controlled in the app’s settings.

In addition to the National Parks app, Chimani also offers free downloads of park-specific apps for select parks like Acadia National Park, Death Valley National Park and Mount Rushmore National Park.
