Travel can make a gal or guy hungry, and sometimes in transit, the options are quite limited. A new line of bars available beginning in April from Clif Bar & Company offers those on the go a new option for easy snacking. The CLIF Organic Trail Mix Bar features fruits and nuts, including almonds, blueberries and dark chocolate. All are certified USDA organic, gluten-free and are 200 calories or less, providing a satiating option for even the most sensitive of diets.
The CLIF Organic Trail Mix Bar comes in seven flavors — Coconut Almond Peanut, Cranberry Almond, Dark Chocolate Almond Sea Salt, Dark Chocolate Cherry Almond, Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter, Dark Chocolate Pomegranate Raspberry and Wild Blueberry Almond. Available nationwide next month, a bar costs around $1.79, or $5.99 for a four-bar pack.
Clif Bar & Company committed to going organic in 2002; since then, the company has purchased more than 500 million pounds of organic ingredients. They also help fight climate change and protect plant and animal biodiversity, keeping about 6 million pounds of pesticides out of the soil, water and air. The company also produces CLIF Bar energy bars, LUNA The Whole Nutrition Bar for Women and CLIF Kid. Learn more at CLIFbar.com.
