Though called “novelty,” this sun shirt from Columbia is eminently useful. The short-sleeved shirt has buttons running up the front and a vent in the back to keep you cool on hot days.
The nylon-polyester blend is designed to increase airflow, too — and it’s naturally moisture-wicking to help keep you dry. Columbia also made the shirt a 40 UPF for sun protection.
The collar makes the shirt look a little more dressy than a normal hiking shirt, so it’s easily converted from an activewear product to something you can wear to a bar, restaurant or party on a summer day. The short sleeves are rolled, adding a fun element of design to the shirt.
The Pilsner Peak shirt comes in various colors and patterns, including Bluebell, Chalk (with a Pacific Northwest-themed print), Dusty Green, Red, Lychee (pink) and more.
Most users give the shirt high marks, with a few people noting the sizes seem to run a little smaller than what they were used to with other Columbia products.
