Celebrate the cuisine of one of the most delicious cities in the United States at COOLinary New Orleans. The month-long event, taking place in August, highlights the city’s culinary scene.
For the entire month, more than 50 of New Orleans’ most popular restaurants offer visitors the chance to sample set menus for brunch, lunch or dinner. This year marks the first time brunch is part of COOLinary New Orleans. Enjoy a three-course brunch for $39 or less, a two- or three-course lunch for $20 or less or a three-course dinner for $39 or less. The participating restaurants embody the history and culture of the Crescent City. Participating restaurants include Antoine’s Restaurant, Arnaud’s Restaurant, Galatoire’s Restaurant, Muriel’s Jackson Square and Tujague’s Restaurant.
In addition, several other local restaurants not participating in the special fixed-price menu offer food and drink specials during August. Vacherie has a $5 bar menu special every day from 3–7 p.m. Dominique’s on Magazine serves a three-course early bird special from 5:30–6:30 p.m. for $30. Tivoli & Lee offers a summer happy hour with drink specials in the indoor and outdoor seating areas.
More restaurants are being added daily, so be sure to check the website often for new offerings.
